Valerie Ware is a Psychologist and Behavioral Specialist with over a decade of education and psychology experience who works with clients of all ages to help them reach their potential. She evaluates for Gifted, Autism, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Anxiety, Career Pathways, and emotional assessments. She has a passion for children and early developmental therapies as she has spent many years providing therapeutic treatment for students with Autism and has been a foster mother. Valerie attends church, is family-centered, and she prioritizes her time for her family, and for community activities.

Education & Certifications
Valerie graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University with a Master’s in Psychology and from Nova Southeastern University with a Psychologist Specialist degree. She is a Licensed Psychologist from the Florida Department of Health and has extensive experience with developmental evaluations educational evaluations and applied behavioral analysis, data analysis, and practices that are aimed at targeting crucial behavioral skills.

Evaluations and Counseling Services Offered by Valerie
Educational assessments can diagnose dyslexia, dyscalculia and dysgraphia and are used to inform research-based instructional practices. Psycho-educational evaluation is an in-depth look at both all-aged student’s learning processes, educational achievement, and behavioral challenges.
Attention Deficit Disorder Evaluations
Attention Deficit Disorder evaluations. These are often combined with a psychoeducational evaluation to locate primary learning needs and needs for accommodations with high-stakes standardized testing.
Autism Spectrum Disorder Evaluations
Persons with autism spectrum disorder have a unique set of developmental and social needs and may even mask their symptoms. Valerie can provide referrals for a variety of therapies, educational plans and create behavioral plans aimed at increasing overall well-rounded development.
Behavioral Assessments
This includes a Functional Behavioral Assessment and an intense behavior intervention plan that can be run by a registered behavioral technician and be used by all caregivers. Behavioral assessments focus on modifying environments, shaping behaviors, and reinforcing alternative prosocial behaviors.
As one faces life’s challenges, an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan will be developed to tackle a child’s big feelings and an adult’s personality and resiliency. Valerie may often use a trauma-informed approach and is sensitive to weighty issues.
